Description

Vishnu has designed and developed the latest technology rewindable oil filled submersible motors for its 4" submersible pumpsets. Following are the salient features of these motors.

All parts are manufactured and fitted precisely using CNC machine that imparts excellent mechanical strength and reliability.

Salient Features

  • Motor fitted with anti-friction pre-lubricated angular contact bearings suitable for axial/radial load and longer life of motor.
  • High operating efficiency of pumpset result into High water discharge plate and lower power consumption.
  • Outer casing of the motor is constructed completely with Stainless Steel, which reduces corrosion and gives a good overall appearance to the motor.
  • The motors are compact and weigh substantially less, which facilitates transportation storage & installation.
  • The electric cable of the motor constitutes three-wire removable cable with watertight connector. This facilitates the changing of the cable, if required, without dismantling the motor.
  • The motors are filled with special food non-toxic dielectric oil, which lubricates the ball bearing and axial thrust bearings. It also offers insulation and thermal properties which increases the reliability & working life of the motor.
  • Pumps available with non-return valve to reduce the backpressure of water when they are switched-off.
  • Impeller and Bowl are accurately machined by CNC machine to ensure high dimension accuracy.
  • The motor are designed for a wide voltage range of operation and are suitable for installation in areas experiencing wide voltage fluctuations.
  • All rotating components and assemblies are dynamically balanced to ensure long bearing life and vibration free smooth operation.
  • The Pumpsets are compact and slim and can be easily installed in narrow wells.

Material of Construction

Motor Body Stainless Steel
Stator Vacuum Impregnated and epoxy coated for corrosion resistance. Thick end laminations are provided to protect motor windings.
Rotor Aluminum prejudice die-cast | GI Rotor dynamically balanced for vibration free smooth operations.
Windings Enamelled insulated copper.
Bearings Ball bearing with high load bearing capacity.
Thrust Bearings Special Self-alignmening and water lubricated to with stand high axial thrust load.
Breather diaphragm Adequately sized to accommodate expansion of water inside the motor and prevent loss cooling water.
Impeller High quality abrasion resistant Noryl/SS Impeller & dynamically balanced.
Bowl High Grade Noryl / S.S. bowl
Wear Rings High quality resistance P.U. /Nitrile Rubber.
Shaft Stainless Steel of adequate diameter to ensure rigidity and ground to close tolerances.
Suction Casing Provided with perforated Stainless Steel Stainer and adequately size to allow the water to be sucked-in with minimum friction.
Cable Sealing Designed so that no Borwell water with sand can enter the motor.

  • Wide Voltage Design

    The motor is designed to withstand wide voltage fluctuations from 350 to 440 volts and reduces motor burning in case of low voltage.

    Minimum vibrations protect components from damages during the operations, thus ensuring consistent performance as concentricity is maintained.

  • Easy Maintainable Designs

    Easy maintainable design and better interchangeability of components so that the pump can be serviced even at remote locations by semi-skilled technicians.

  • CED – Cathodic Electro Deposition

    CED is the latest coating technology for corrosion resistance with uniform coating. It provides 5 times more protection over conventional painting, resulting in longer life. All major CI parts of Kirloskar pumps coming in contact with the water are CED coated.
